HI, I’M KARIM BOUSSEDRA
Fractional CFO and Advisor for SaaS and AI companies
Runway clarity, board-ready metrics, and fundraising support for seed to Series B. Without the full-time hire.
SERVICES
Every engagement is scoped to your stage, needs and goals.
Strategic finance & Fractional CFO support
An embedded finance partner for your leadership team: monthly close review, KPI ownership, scenario planning, and a CFO in the room for board meetings and hard decisions.
Budgeting and cash flow planning
A rolling 13-week cash view plus annual budget discipline, so runway is a number you know, not one you estimate under pressure.
Financial modeling and Forecasting
Multi-year operating models, scenario planning, and unit economics you can defend in a board meeting, built to be maintained, not admired once and abandoned.
Fundraising strategy and Investor communication
Data rooms, diligence prep, and the metrics narrative investors actually probe: NRR, CAC payback, burn multiple, and the story that connects them.
Scaling finance operations for growth
Systems, tooling, and process, from QuickBooks hygiene to live dashboards, so your finance stack grows with headcount.
M&A assistance
Engagement letter review, deal modeling, and sell-side preparation, with clear GO / NO-GO recommendations, not hedged memos.

ABOUT ME
Hi, I'm Karim
I've spent my career in tech finance, building operating models, managing burn through downturns, and sitting on the founder's side of the table through raises and M&A processes.
Finaseva exists because most seed-to-Series-B companies need real CFO judgment long before they need a full-time CFO. I work with a small number of companies at a time, embedded enough to know your numbers cold, senior enough to push back when the model says no.
When I'm not in a spreadsheet, I write about SaaS finance and the economics of AI, how compute costs are reshaping margins, and what that means for pricing and fundraising.
Frequently Asked Questions
-
Usually between seed and Series B — when the founder is still running finance from a spreadsheet, a raise or board is demanding real reporting, or cash decisions are getting expensive to get wrong. If your bookkeeper closes the books but no one interprets them, that's the moment.
-
Bookkeepers record what happened; accountants make it compliant. I focus on what happens next — forecasting, cash strategy, metrics, fundraising, and the decisions those numbers should drive. I work alongside your existing bookkeeping, not instead of it.Item description

It depends on the engagement — advisory clients get monthly sessions plus async access; fractional CFO clients get one to two embedded days per week. I deliberately work with a small number of companies at a time so each one gets real attention.
-
That's where I'm strongest — SaaS metrics, usage-based pricing, and AI unit economics are my daily work. I occasionally take on other tech businesses when the fit is right; the discovery call is where we figure that out.

Nothing. Thirty minutes, no pitch — we talk about where your finance function is, where it needs to be, and whether I'm the right person to help. If I'm not, I'll say so and point you somewhere useful.
